yeah I wasn't quite sure where to go with the top one. and the reason i dont like the bottom one is it's not looking very much like the refrence. and i wish it did the refrence photo is a cool one. still .. practice makes perfect..
I have a question... have you thought about what you want to be as an illustrator? Because your images are highly stylized, I think your work would look awesome as part of a graphic novel. I especially loved the piece you did for David, the one where the girl gets shot. That was awesome. I liked how you used this style but mixed it with some line work to give the images some extra definition.
yeah i like the graphic novel idea, i like storys and suprising story telling almost as much as illustration. I also like character design / concepts because thats almost like story telling in itself. havent had much practice at character generation yet.
