claire, good to see your still drawing, i think there are some anatomical issues with the face, mainly the lips and the nose appear to be on a different plane of the face they need to be angled more to fit on the face, but the ear looks great, i think you achieved a good amount of recognisablilty, i could tell it was nicole straight away which is good, but i think you need to be a bit more confident with your rendering, maybe add some more contrast with darks and so forth but the thing i cant work out is what hte blakc thing is in her hair?? keep on drawing and post some more!!! take care
Black thing is a hair clip. I couldn't make it out cos the original background was black which made it harder to differentiate. Yup I always have problems with the placement of the nose and lips. Cheers for the comment!
