looks very flat mate, make sure you are aware of the planes of the face and how they roll onto one another, also make sure your drawing is accurate before you jump into the painting, as a good drawing will be a good foundation for a great painting, keep it up mate,
yeah i agree man it is flat, and a little bit shit.. You picked the lasy drawing as well, the sketch didnt look right but i figured i'd try and fix it up as i was painting.. oh well , next time :)
